Vessels: OC1, V1, SS1, OC2, Pdlbrd, SUP, OC6 400lb, OC6 200lb7:30-9:00am

Race day check-in and registration next to Hawaii Kai Boat ramp.

9:15am Pre-race meeting, costume contest, group picture
9:45-10:00am Race start***ALL PADDLERS, INCLUDING PRE-REGISTERED PADDLERS MUST CHECK IN AND PICK UP THEIR RACE NUMBERS FROM 7:30-9AMPlease do not double park your vehicle or park outside of marked parking stalls at the Hawaii Kai Boat Ramp. That includes no parking in boat Trailer stalls. You may park in the dirt area but not on the grass parallel to the highway.$35 adult and $25 Jr
First time female paddlers $10Entry fee includes race insurance, race number, safety boats, timing. Lunch and awards only guaranteed to those who register by Friday Oct. 20
Please remove all numbers from your vessel so that we can issue you a PA’A ID number that will be your number for the rest of the season.


There will be a costume contest going on through the registration period in Hawaii Kai.  Winners will be selected based on originality/creativity, craftsmanship, and presentation.  Costumes should be worn during the race to be considered for the contest.
Be aware that you will be paddling about 8 miles so please do not wear garments that may cause yourself harm while paddling. This includes costumes that may pose a threat of: Heat stroke, suffocation, strangulation, or drowning. Please use your good judgement and “common sense” when choosing your costume.
1st Place costume – Makana Ali’i paddle
2nd Place costume – Sponsor gear
3rd Place costume – Sponsor gear
(only individual prize provided for group costume entries)

Winter Series Awards

This is Race #1 of the Winter series.  Top three places of each vessel and age division (with 3 or more entries) will earn an award at the third and final race based off whoever has the best finishes over three races.  Point system is one point earned per place so whoever earns the least points wins.
