KOA NUI CHAMPIONSHIp

In 2006 the Koa Nui Championship was inspired by the Tahitian paddlers and their Super Aito race.  The original race format was designed to test paddlers in different ocean conditions and distances.  It required paddlers to hold skills in a variety of racing aspects with the most rounded athlete coming out on top.
